OUR STORY
Statement by Ellen C is all about style, joy, and making an entrance in wearable art. From the time I was a little girl, I have been a fashionista. As a psychiatric nurse, I wore wild vests, sweaters, and jackets over my uniform; and my statement pieces were conversation starters that helped clients open their hearts and minds to new ideas. I’ve enjoyed helping those struggling with mental illness and addiction find peace of mind and a reason to smile.

OUR MISSION
Upcycling denim and more with appliqués and pins is good for the planet and for the soul. I love denim, in particular, because it's versatile, always en vogue and easy to wear. Whether upcycled or brand new, denim is the perfect canvas for creating wearable art that can go from day to night.
